Installation Mistakes That Can Damage Your Submersible Pump


Incorrect installation is one of the most common reasons submersible pumps fail early. Using low-quality cables or loose joints allows water to enter the motor, causing short circuits. Choosing the wrong pipe diameter increases pump load. Placing the pump too close to the bottom causes sand intake, damaging the impellers. Incorrect panel settings, wrong capacitor ratings, or skipping a starter also reduce motor life. Never install the pump without a proper safety rope; tension from pipes alone may cause damage during servicing. Ensure perfect alignment in
